Lieutenant Darron Moore #237

Lt. Moore has been with the department since December of 1997 when he joined the Communications Division.  He left the department in 2000 to attend the SEMO Law Enforcement Academy.  After graduating, Sgt. Moore was re-hired to the Patrol Division in August of 2000.  He is a Gas Mask Fit Instructor, and has training in Crisis Intervention, Domestic Violence, Vehicle Search & Seizure, Wepons of Mass Destruction, and Response to Terrorism. Lt. Moore is a member of the SEMO Bomb Squad, a certified bomb technician and the department's Explosive Detection K9 handler. He's the department's C.A.L.E.A. manager. LOCO #301

Loco is a German Shepherd imported from the Netherlands. He trained to passively alert to the presence of numerous types of explosives. He was originally trained to deploy to Afghanistan with the Military but due to a draw down of U.S. Troops his mission was cancelled. He was given to the department by a Government Contractor. He's assigned to the SEMO Bomb Squad and attends training monthly at the Riverview Training Academy in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

 






 


Ptlm. Billy Duckett 294
 
Ptlm. Duckett started with our department in February of 2012. Duckett is a graduate of the 2011 Mineral Area Law Enforcement Academy. Prior to joining the department Duckett worked for the Greenville Police Department as the School Resource Officer. During this time Duckett completed the D.A.R.E. Officer Training and was certified as a K9 Handler after attending the LaFollette K9 Training course. Ptlm. Duckett began his law enforcement career in 2004 when he joined the U.S. Army's Military Police where he served our country until 2009. While in the Military Duckett served two tours in Iraq and earned the rank of Sergeant. Kane

Kane is a Belgian  Malinois. Kane was trained at Lafollette K-9 Training Center in Strafford, MO.  Kane continues his training at River View K-9 Training in  Cape Girardeau, MO. Kane is trained in Narcotic Detection and Tracking.
