  Lt. Ralph Jefferson 238 Lt. Jefferson has been a member of the Poplar Bluff Police Department since March, 5th 1989.
 Sgt. Keith Hefner 242 Sgt. Hefner has been with the department since October 9th, 1995. Prior to his hiring, Officer Hefner was an E.M.T. for Lucy Lee Life Support Systems Ambulance Service from 1991 until 1995. He was hired as a desk officer in October of 1995 until transferring to communications a short time later. There, he served as a Communications Training Officer and received Dispatcher of the Year in 2000. He is a graduate of the SEMO law enforcement academy in 2003 with high academic honors. He worked as a Reserve Officer and Communications Officer until his appointment to the Patrol Division August 3rd of 2003. He has advanced training in Hostage Negotiation/Crisis Negotiations as well as Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. You may reach Sgt. Hefner at:  Sgt. Chuck Harris 244 Sgt. Harris has been with the department since April 28th, 2003. Harris started as a Reserve Officer and later became a part-time officer. Harris was hired full-time March 28, 2005. He is a graduate of the SEMO Law Enforcement Academy. Harris was promoted to Corporal in Febuary 2009 and then promoted to Sergeant on January 7th, 2013. Sgt. Johnson graduated from College of the Ozarks in May of 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and graduated S.E.M.O law enforcement academy in August of 2006. Cpl. Johnson worked at the Branson Police Department for a short duration before joining the Poplar Bluff Police Department on October 27th 2007. Johnson is a certified trainer in active shooting and recieved the officer of the year award in 2010. Johnson was promoted to Corporal on Januay 7th, 2013.You may contact Johnson at:  Ptlm.  Ptlm. Jerry Cates 262 Officer Cates has been with the department since November 11th, 1990. jcates@pbpolice.org  Ptlm. James “Jamie“ Sample 276 Ptlm. Sample has been with the department since March 6th of 1995 after graduating from the SEMO Law Enforcement Academy. Officer Sample is a Field Training Officer for the department.  Ptlm. Kenny Carpenter 252 Ptlm. Carpenter has been with the department since May of 1994 when he began with the department's Reserve Division. He was hired as a full-time officer on March 6th 1995. He is a graduate of the SEMO Law Enforcement Academy in 1994. He is a certified Accident Investigator through the M.S.H.P. Patrolman Mustain has been with the department since September 22nd, 2008. He is a graduate of SEMO Law Enforcement Academy. Ptlm. Mustain is a certified Taser Intructor and is a P.O.S.T. instructor.  Ptlm. Shonna Parrent 277 Ptlm. Parrent has been with the department since 2007 when she started as a reserve officer. Parrent became a full-time officer in January of 2009. Photo Not Available Ptlm. Brandon Hopper 256
Ptlm. Brandon Hopper has been employed with the department since May 2010. Ptlm. Hopper is also a fourteen year veteran with the United States Army and is currently serving as a Squad Leader with the Missouri National Guard, stationed with Det 2, 1137th Military Police Company in Doniphan, MO. Ptlm. Woodruff has been with the department since February 2010, where he started as a part-time Animal Control Officer. Ptlm. Woodruff became a Communications Officer in November of 2010. Woodruff graduated from the Missouri Sheriff's Association Training Academy in June 2011. Ptlm. Woodruff served as a temporary officer until November of 2011, when he became a full time officer.
